Resolved L1 and L2 issues across VPN, ports, firewall rules, user access, IP whitelisting and websites.
Configured and troubleshot switches, routers, hosts, blades, physical firewalls, KVM switches and cabling.
Fixed networking at the VM, vCenter, hypervisor and BIOS levels, including IPsec tunnels, NAT, public IPs and port groups.
Worked directly with client IT teams and vendors, from requirements and change requests to escalations and handover.

Set up immutable storage for backups, and supported penetration tests through to remediation.
Led the technical side of 15+ security and compliance audits for enterprise clients in IT, banking and other sectors, preparing the evidence that helped them pass.
Worked for a month on a ransomware recovery and quick-response team.

DNS and email for cooperative banks (government project)

Worked 6 months on a government project, onboarding cooperative banks onto PowerDNS and running the authoritative DNS servers: zones, records and DNSSEC.
Handled their email and security-service migrations, as the main technical contact for bank IT teams.
